Terms of Service for Unstack

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or scanning documents with Unstack (“the App”), you agree to these Terms.

2. Document Scanning & AI

Unstack uses AI to read, categorize, and extract information from documents provided by the user.

3. User Responsibility

* **Accuracy**: Users are responsible for double-checking all extracted amounts, dates, and names before using them for taxes or official records.

* **Content**: You must have the legal right to scan and store the documents you process.

4. AI Document Chat

The "Ask Your Documents" feature provides AI-generated answers based on scanned text. This is an information Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service and may occasionally hallucinate or miss details. It is not a substitute for professional document review.

5. Subscription (Unstack Pro)

Managed via App Store/Play Store sub-accounts. Weekly/Monthly billing applies as selected.

6. Ownership

User-scanned documents and AI-extracted summaries remain the property of the user. Data is stored locally on the device.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the App to scan illegal materials, counterfeit documents, or stolen information.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke access to the AI extraction features for users found to be abusing the system limits or attempting to exploit the OCR engine.

9. Disclaimer

Unstack is provided “AS IS.” We do not warrant that document extraction will be error-free or compatible with all document types.
