1. Introduction

Unstack (“the App”) is a secure document scanner and AI organization tool. Privacy and local security are our primary design principles.

2. Document & Image Data

* **Scanning**: When you capture a document, the image is processed and saved within the App’s secure local sandbox.

* **Extraction (OCR)**: We use AI to extract data (dates, totals). This is processed ephemerally and is not saved to any external database beyond the local record.

3. No Third-Party Data Sharing

Your sensitive documents—including tax forms, medical records, and receipts—are never shared with advertisers or third parties.

4. Permissions

* **Camera**: Used only for document capture.

* **Storage**: Used only for exporting generated PDFs to your chosen location.

5. Disclosure: AI Technology

Unstack uses Large Language Models and OCR technology to parse data. These tools are used for on-demand processing and not for training general-purpose models on your private data.

6. Complete Data Deletion

We do not host your files in the cloud. To erase all records permanently:

* Delete the document within the App interface.

* Or clear App Storage in your device's System Settings.
