SleepPublish ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered content autopilot application that automatically generates and publishes SEO articles to your connected website or blog. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect
### Information You Provide Directly
- **Account information** — your email address and password when you create an account
- **Content strategy** — your niche, brand tone, target audience, keywords, and writing samples that you enter in Settings
- **CMS credentials** — API keys, tokens, and connection details for platforms you connect (WordPress, Notion, Ghost, Webflow, Wix, Shopify). These are stored encrypted at rest and used solely to publish content on your behalf
- **Profile information** — your name if provided during onboarding
### Information Generated by the App
- **Articles and content plans** — the 30-day content calendars and AI-generated articles we create on your behalf are stored in your account
- **Publication records** — timestamps, URLs, and status of articles published to your CMS
### Information Collected Automatically
- **Usage data** — app interactions such as screens visited and features used, collected to improve the service
- **Device information** — device type, operating system version, and app version for debugging and support
- **Crash reports** — anonymised error reports when the app encounters a problem
### Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your payment card details. All payments are processed by Apple through in-app purchases
- We do not sell your data to advertisers
- We do not read the content of your connected CMS beyond what is required to publish articles

Your content strategy and article drafts are sent to Google Gemini AI to generate content. Google's data handling is governed by their terms of service. We do not permit Google to use your data for training their models beyond what their standard API terms permit.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which is certified under ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3
- CMS credentials are stored encrypted at rest
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS at all times
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data — including articles, credentials, and content strategy — is permanently deleted within 30 days
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- **Access** — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- **Correction** — request that we correct inaccurate data
- **Deletion** — request that we delete your data (or use the in-app delete account feature)
- **Portability** — request your data in a machine-readable format
- **Restriction** — ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances
- **Objection** — object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Children's Privacy
SleepPublish is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States where Google Firebase and Google Gemini infrastructure operates. By using the app, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
