SACRED HABIT — TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sacred Habit mobile application ("App") operated by MactrixXR ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. USE OF THE APP
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sacred Habit. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
1.2 Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
1.3 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
* Use the App for any unlawful purpose
* Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
* Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
* Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
* Use the App to collect data about other users
2. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
2.1 Free Trial
Sacred Habit offers a 14-day free trial period for new users. During this period, you have access to all premium features. After the trial period ends, premium features will be locked unless you subscribe.
2.2 Subscription Plans
Sacred Habit offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:
* Weekly subscription
* Annual subscription
Current pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store.
2.3 Billing
* Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
* Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
* Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
* No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period
2.4 Managing Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
3. CONTENT AND DATA
3.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App, including habits, completion records, and confession preparation notes.
3.2 Confession Data
Confession preparation data (examination selections, private notes) is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted storage. We have no access to this data. When you use the "Go in Peace" feature, your confession draft is permanently deleted from your device.
3.3 Data Sync
Habit data, rules, and settings are synced to cloud storage (Firebase Firestore) to enable cross-device access. You can delete all synced data at any time by deleting your account from the Account tab.
3.4 Data Export
You may export your synced data as a JSON file from the Account tab at any time.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1 Our Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content (such as prayer texts, examination prompts, and devotional content), is owned by MactrixXR and is protected by intellectual property laws.
4.2 Prayer Texts
Catholic prayer texts included in the App (such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, Act of Contrition, Rosary mysteries, and other traditional prayers) are in the public domain and are not claimed as proprietary content.
4.3 License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1 Spiritual Guidance
Sacred Habit is a habit tracking tool. It is NOT a substitute for spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, or the guidance of a priest or qualified spiritual advisor. The examination of conscience prompts are general in nature and are not comprehensive.
5.2 No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5.3 Availability
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be free of errors or interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MactrixXR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
7. TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account from the Account tab in the App.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MactrixXR operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS
These Terms are between you and MactrixXR, not Apple. MactrixXR, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
