Terms of Service for CatholicTheology AI

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CatholicTheology AI (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CatholicTheology AI is a spiritual companion providing AI-generated theological insights based on Catholic tradition, the Catechism, and official Church documents.

3. No Clerical or Sacramental Substitute

The App provides educational and spiritual reflections but is NOT a substitute for:

* **The Clergy**: Sacramental confession or pastoral guidance from a priest.

* **Official Canon Law**: The App is a tool for learning, not a definitive legal source for Church law.

4. AI Usage & Accuracy

The App uses generative AI to provide responses. While we source responses from faithful Catholic documents, AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or contextually inappropriate information. Users are encouraged to cross-reference responses with the official Catechism of the Catholic Church.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

* Use the App to generate blasphemous, hateful, or intentionally misleading content.

* Attempt to bypass credit limits or "jailbreak" the AI models.

6. Subscriptions & Billing (Disciple Plan)

* **Billing**: Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

* **Cancellations**: You must cancel via your app store account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

* **Access**: Failure to maintain a valid subscription may limit access to "Treatise Mode" and cloud history.

7. Intellectual Property

* **App Content**: The design, interface, and branding are the property of Mactrix XR Space.

* **User Output**: Users are granted a non-exclusive license to use and share the AI-generated theological responses for personal and educational purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Mactrix XR Space disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or availability of the AI models.

9. Limitation of Liability

Mactrix XR Space shall not be liable for any spiritual or emotional distress resulting from the use or interpretation of AI-generated spiritual reflections.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction.
