Mactrix XR Space (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through the CatholicTheology AI mobile application (“the App”).

2. Information We Collect

We strive to minimize data collection. The App operates on a "Privacy First" principle:

* **A. Information You Provide**: This includes theological questions, notes, and inputs for the Examination of Conscience.

* **B. Information Collected Automatically**: We may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, application version) to ensure stability and improve performance via Firebase/Google Analytics for Firebase.

3. AI Processing & Generative Content

In compliance with Google Play’s AI-Generated Content policy:

* **Processing**: Input data is processed ephemerally by third-party Large Language Model providers (including Google Gemini and OpenAI).

* **Ownership & Training**: We do not use your private theological inputs to train global models. Your queries are processed to provide immediate responses and are not stored in a way that identifies you.

4. Local-First Data Storage

Unlike traditional cloud-based apps, CatholicTheology AI stores sensitive information (such as your spiritual history and confession preparation) **exclusively on your local device**. We do not have access to, nor do we store, this data on our servers.

5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We use the following subprocessors:

* **Google Firebase**: For anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring.

* **Gemini/OpenAI**: For ephemeral text generation.

6. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

* **Retention**: Local data remains on your device until you choose to delete it.

* **Deletion**: You have absolute control. To permanently erase all data, clear the application cache/data in your device settings or uninstall the App.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

CatholicTheology AI is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

8. Compliance (GDPR/CCPA)

While we collect minimal data, we respect international privacy standards. Users have the right to request access to any data we may hold (though typically none exists) by contacting us.
